Terms & Conditions
Clients will be requested to confirm their acceptance of these terms and conditions by return email at time of Plates and Platters acceptance of the booking.
PRICES QUOTED
All prices quoted include GST and are valid until quoted function date.
DEPOSIT
A deposit of 25% is required within 7 days of booking to secure date. Plates and Platters Catering reserve the right to offer dates that have not been secured after the 7 day period by payment of deposit to other potential client/s. Deposit is forfeited if cancellation is notified less than 14 days before function date. If function is postponed deposit will be held as security.
GUEST NUMBERS
Estimated guest numbers to be notified 2 weeks prior to function date. Final guest numbers must be notified no later than 1 week prior to function date. Increased numbers will be charged. Reduced numbers will be charged at final confirmed number. A minimum spend of $1500 is required to secure a staffed function on any Friday or Saturday evening (excluding staff costs). Should decrease in guest numbers reduce the spend to below minimum Plates & Platters Catering reserve the right to charge the minimum spend of $1500 (excluding staff costs).
STAFF COSTS
Where kitchen staff is included in per head cost, the hours included will be advised in the quotation. Any additional hours will be charged at the current hourly rate (available on request).
Payment is to be made prior or no later than at conclusion of function unless other arrangements have been approved.
