The food was delicious. So much so that we ran out of curry – everyone wanted seconds and thirds!!
Despite ordering more than i thought we would need, I could easily have done with more.
Everyone commented on the delicious food and it was wonderful having Karen as my kitchen angel – meant I could just enjoy the night, which i did.
I will certainly be happy to recommend Plates and Platters to others.

The 18th birthday party was a success on all accounts. The food was delicious - thank you. I think the spicy Mexican pies scored the number one vote with the adults, and the spinach and fetta triangles were the obvious favourite with the young ones.

We were so happy using Plates and Platters to cater for our event. It took so much of the stress of hosting an event away and the food was truly scrumptious. It was also a very budget-friendly option as we did not have to cover the cost of having caterers come to our home. I recently had an occasion to use "Plates and Platters" self catering service for my daughters engagement party at our home.I contacted Barb from "Plates and Platters" regarding catering for this function. Barb was very approachable and so easy to talk to regarding my requirements. She gave me some great suggestions and I really had the feeling as though she was out to deliver great food with the focus on ease and convenience for me. I also found "Plates and Platters" to be very reasonable with their pricing, and considering I was catering for a potential of 100 guests, this was a major consideration. I had many compliments regarding the quality and taste of the food on the evening and would have no hesitation in recommending "Plates and Platters" to anyone wanting to home cater for functions.

I was stressed about the weather all week, the lighting and if we would have enough to drink, the only thing I never worried about was the food.
